Good afternoon Palomino families,
Please remember that at Nicolet all students must wear their ID lanyard during school hours (except at PE) as part of the Dress Code and for safety purposes. All students received the first ID lanyard free. If they need a new one, please go to the ASB Office before or after school or at their lunch to purchase. The cost is $7 for ID card, lanyard, and ID cover. Thank you for helping your Palomino come to school prepared each day. The next NMS Saturday Academy is this upcoming Saturday, January 25, from 8 am to 12 pm. Permission slips are due Wednesday, January 22 by the end of the school day so that we may plan accordingly for breakfast and lunch services, as well as have enough teachers to accommodate the amount of students who sign up. Walk ins on the day of the event will not be accepted.

Good afternoon,
We had a Shelter in Place notification sounded by error this afternoon over the loudspeaker. The campus and surrounding areas are safe. Students were already in sixth period before it came over the loudspeaker. Great job to everyone for taking it seriously and responding appropriately! Our Palominos are prepared!
As a reminder, we need all students to wear their Nicolet ID lanyard all day, every day with the exception of PE and while playing sports. Lanyards can be vital in real emergencies, hence we require students to wear them while on campus.
Replacements can be purchased in the ASB Office before and after school as well as at the student's lunch. The ID card is $5, the ID cover is $1, and lanyards are $1. We are currently awaiting a new shipment of lanyards, but students are welcome to use their own from home or previous years.

In observance of Winter Break, students' last day of instruction is today, Wednesday, December 18th. There will be no school from Thursday, December 19th, to Sunday, January 5th. Classes will resume on Monday, January 6th. Have a safe and happy holiday!

Hello Palomino Families: We have our exciting PAAC Track coming soon on January 10- Ramen and Boba Luncheon! Ask your student if they will qualify- students know the expectations. Finals are next week with minimum days all week release at 12:54 pm. No school Thursday or Friday, December 19 or 20.
